YouTube is Increasing Its Censorship…Again

These large social media platforms have become nothing but censorship platforms. If you question official narratives - regardless of how often they’re later proven to be wrong or lies - these platforms are going to target you. It’s that simple.

The latest example is YouTube (again). In their Official YouTube Creator Blog, the company announced it’s again tweaking its hallowed algorithm for “reducing recommendations of borderline content and content that could misinform users in harmful ways—such as videos promoting a phony miracle cure for a serious illness, claiming the earth is flat, or making blatantly false claims about historic events like 9/11.”

That’s a mouthful. Misinform according to whom? Phony according to whom? False claims according to whom? The answer in all cases is the Military Intelligence Industrial Media Complex. That’s a mouthful too, but a proper update to President Eisenhower’s original Military Industrial Complex.

What are the truths YouTube will unquestioningly allow on their platform from “mainstream news” sources?

  1. A pill derived from plant in the Amazon that goes through millions of dollars of processing to make it proprietary, millions in taxpayer money to get approved, and benefits from millions of dollars in advertising is medicine. BUT, someone who goes out and picks that plant wild in the jungle and claims there are health benefits is a quack, a fraud, and not welcome on YouTube.

  2. Any information that serves the purpose of feeding the war machine by finding the next enemy and selling it to the American people passes through YouTube censors easily and effortlessly. Anyone who questions those policies gets labeled a Russian apologist, an Assad apologist or an X apologist. YouTube subdues them on their platform.

  3. If you accept the mainstream view that aliens, if they exist, are too far away to ever come here or contact us, especially as you giggle, you’re content is prioritized on YouTube. Claim, with mountains of evidence, that the government has been covering up a very real alien presence for decades? YouTube’s algorithm will make sure you don’t get to spread your harmful lies.

These are just three examples. There are dozens more. The bottom line is this. When corporations become the censors, they have become the defacto government. The First Amendment means nothing in 2019, if it doesn’t mean that your content can complete in a marketplace of ideas with the perpetual lies proffered by the establishment.

It’s time NOW for the Supreme Court to decide the scope of the First Amendment on social media. Either we demand and enforce free speech on these platforms or we will just have endless tyranny.

Be aware, but not scared.
